Holly Willoughby confessed on This Morning today that she feels “doomed” over turning 40 this week, but added that she has “still got it”.

Appearing for her usual slot on the ITV show today beside her longtime friend and co-star Phillip Schofield, Holly was told by viewers and Phil of what to expect after she turns 40 tomorrow (February 10).

Mocking his younger friend, Phillip read her a long list of things she should supposedly be looking forward to and also dreading as she enters the new decade.

Phillip giggled as he told his pal she may start growing her on her chin as he called them, “chin whiskers”.

He then read out: “You’ll start to share pictures of your garden and lemon drizzle cake.”

Which made Holly chuckle as she replied: “I’m sort of already doing that!”

Phillip went on: “You’ll chuckle at someone’s tale of trying to tackle noisy eaters on a commuter train and try to avoid friend requests from your children’s school mates.

“You’ll make ‘oooof’ noises when you get up.”

In a state of giggles, Holly chimed: “I definitely already do that! After three kids I do that!”

Phillip also said the star will start wearing “comfy shoes” but she insisted she loves nothing more than a high heel and loves to run about in them while presenting Dancing on Ice.

Agreeing, Phillip recalled how he has to run behind Holly in her heels because he can’t keep up.

He said: “No you still have the ability on Dancing On Ice, there’s this one bit on Dancing On Ice where we have to go from one part of the set to another part and there’s not much time and I run behind you.

“And I am still incredibly impressed at the speed you can run at in heels.”

Holly proudly said: “Like a gazelle. Still got it.”

Phil added: “You are a gazelle,” as the pair erupted into laughter.

Holly then read one sent into her by a viewer and said: “I’m a bit upset about this one….hangovers – the sort that no bacon sarnie or full fat coke can even put a dent in,” before exclaiming: “I’m doomed!”

After hearing them all, Holly mused: “I’m the best version of myself in my head.

“I feel like a strong woman!”

This Morning continues on ITV tomorrow at 10am.
